Evaluation Technologies

During the creation of my magazine, i used a camera and Photoshop, I took all of my images without a studio, To make the images look more real, instead of having to do loads of editing on Photoshop to my images. Along the way, i found some difficulties with some of the features on Photoshop, but i found ways to work with it, and i also watched some tutorials on Youtube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjRqZiAgoHo
For all of my images, i wanted a shadow effect to be used, so once i inserted the image, i went on effects, and enhanced the drop shadow to suit my intentions. I also used the drop shadow effect for my masthead, which i found very effective and bold, once i learnt how to create an interesting shadow effect, I was then able to use it to my ability to create effects that i wanted to.
For my DPS I had to align all the text correctly into 3 columns, i did this by creating the text, highlighting it and clicking on the window tab at the top, i then selected paragraph and created my own preferred alignments, which was justify last left.

Throughout most of my written work and evaluations I have used sites such as Prezi and Flipsnack to help me create my work easily, understanding the format of these presentation software's was pretty simple to grasp and made my work easy to complete.
The only negative about using these online presentation software's in college is when the internet is down, because there are so many devices on the WiFi, it can sometimes cause for the software to malfunction and you could possibly loose all your work, luckily, it didn't happen to me. But the advantages of using the online software's would be that you can access them anywhere on any device, and it's all free. There is no trouble involved with memory sticks or sharing work over email, you just log in and it's all there for you.
